Want some cold water Lobster? This box has it. All items in this box are IQF meaning fresh flash frozen. Please note this is NOT a local seas fishery box. Our distributor will continue to offer this box until lobster season begins in Florida. We tried this box on the farm this weekend and loved every bit of the seafood. A word of advice be sure to thaw these products completely before cooking. They taste so much better when thawed.
The raw shrimp was perfected when steaming them with butter, garlic, white wine, old bay seasoning, and garnished with fresh squeezed lemon. Word of advice: Don't cook to long! They will get chewy if you do! But still very good over all.
Cold Water Canadian Lobster
Lobster was some of the best we've had in a long time. Thaw completely, brush with melted butter and season with salt, pepper, paprika and old bay seasoning.
Cooking instructions: Saute onion with olive oil, salt a pepper cook on high heat for approximately 10 minutes or until onions are soft. Add chopped fresh garlic and fresh chopped tomatoes. Saute until garlic begins to lightly brown. While the pan is very hot add white wine to bring up all the flavor of the saute process. About 1 cup of white wine should do. Add a half stick of salted real butter and fresh chopped parsley and stir. Reduce heat and add 1/2 cup of water. Sit your lobster in this saute bath. Be sure that the liquid does not touch the meat of the lobster. Once the lobster is placed in the pan cover and steam until meat it tender and pure white. Cooking times may vary but keep an close eye on this. 2 minutes to long can result in very tough lobster.
You can use this bath to baste your finished lobster. You Can also use it to cook the mussels included in this box. Simply cook until mussels open.
